I make corporate stories... human.

Job Multimedia Producer & Motion Designer / WEX, Inc.

Lives In Parkside

When I was a kid, I remember lying on my living room floor editing pixellated DV footage on my dad's iBook. I remember thinking "man, if only I could be shooting in HD," a pie-in-the-sky dream at the time.

Six years ago, I picked up a Canon 550d, and that was the beginning of the rest of my life.

Since then, I've shot video and photos for designers at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, produced commercials for the State of Maine, and brought a bit more humanity to corporate payments through motion graphics. I live to tell stories, and I hope to do it for the rest of my life.

Portland, for me, is the perfect place to do that. It lives and breathes culture, food, and art in a way that inspires, from it's small, world-renowned restaurants to its bespoke branding agencies that turn out world class material while keeping their souls.

I hope that this city continues to make being creative a possibility for those who love living here.

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Andrew Taylor, Mike Wiley, and Arlin Smith of Hugo's/Eventide/Honey Paw. What they've done to put Portland's food scene on the map cannot be understated.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? As a huge beer-geek, I always start a visit with Novare Res. In the summer, there's nowhere better in Portland.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Rosie's. Great staff, cheap drinks, and the best regulars.

What's the most surprising thing about this city? How much it has grown up in the last ten years. At the end of every vacation, I can't wait to get back here.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Eventide lobster rolls. The price is, frankly, astonishing. But I never, ever regret ordering one.
