Lives In Cape Elizabeth
I love the Portland life: the demeanor, the pace, the camping, the food, the music, the design, the drink, the hiking, the ocean and the people.
Why did you choose Portland? I was born in Maine and lived in Central Maine for many years, but we spent all of our time driving to Portland. So we gave in and just moved here.
Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Fishermen and lobstermen. Blueberry pickers and oyster shuckers. Making the amazing bounty of Maine so easily accessible to us.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Hike Bradbury, walk the the boulevard, go to the Well in Cape Elizabeth, Fort Williams, introduce them to Sebago IPA and Peeper Ale.
Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Portland Pie.
What's the most surprising thing about this city? That there are still so many people I don't know.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Steak tartare and the bourbon sampler at Back Bay Grill.
