Bonnie Faulkner

Glass Artist

Job Artist / Heron Point Gallery

Lives In Yarmouth

I am a glass artist working with fused glass and stained glass. I work with many layers of glass at a time and design and create my own work. Mandalas are my passion, and I exhibit large glass mandalas at Heron Point Gallery and also at White Cap Grille. Inspired by the tidal river where my studio is, there is a never-ending supply of ideas. I also make autobiographical artists books, making my own papers, bindings and book structures.

Why did you choose Portland? It's a wonderful place to live, small, beautiful and full of great people.

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Anyone who's been here since 1980

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Eastern Prom. The view of the islands is gorgeous.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Sweet potato fries at White Cap Grille.
