Life is a colorful palette, giving a creative sixth sense to looking at the world around us.

Job Fine artist/graphic artist / In home studio

Lives In Cape Elizabeth

I am a Cape Elizabeth fine artist and graphic designer, formally trained in oil painting techniques from Dean College, Franklin, Mass. I continued my passion for the arts at University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, receiving a bachlor's degree in graphic art.

In the past, for over 12 years I owned a design/marketing firm, Creative Marketing Trends. As a result, I utilized my graphic art background to capture many unique techniques and mediums. From hand rendered logos and package designs to several different styles of oil paintings ... from abstract, expressionistic, contemporary black and white to realistic works.

As a diverse artist, I especially enjoy capturing the unique expression of everyday life through my abstract works. Starting with emotional and personal life experiences, I recall these experiences through oil paintings. Quick, brightly colored brushstrokes give voice to each of my works of art, expressing on a canvas meaning to - and of - an artist's life.

Speaking of "an artist's life," Portland is what keeps me thrilling to that creative brillance. Portland is the artist hub for creative ideas and colorful energy. And the wonderful thing is that Portland is a stone throw away...waiting for me to visit and view again and again.

See you soon Portland.

Why did you choose Portland? I choose Portland because of it's art, diverse culture and food. It's a great little city that one can go out on the town and meet nice unique people from all walks of life and background. I especially love First Friday art walk ... for the love of art! As an artist the creative talent keeps me on my toes ... pushing to learn and create better.
