Filipp V. Kotsishevskiy

I seek and create adventure.

Job Photographer/cinematographer

Lives In The West End

I studied filmmaking at The Conservatory of Film at SUNY Purchase before working at Maine Media Workshops as the Newman Multimedia Producer. My partner, Olivia, and I fell in love with Maine in that summer and took the first opportunity to move here from NYC.

I currently freelance as a photographer, cinematographer and editor on creative projects of interest and am always up for collaboration in Portland!

Why did you choose Portland? I was born in Moscow and moved to the Bronx with my mother at the age of 5. I've been a city kid my entire life and needed to see what was beyond the skyline.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Wow them (and still myself) with Maine's natural beauty.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Monument Square to Portlander watch.

Do you have a serendipity spot? Where do you always bump into good people? You can find good people all over Portland!
