I preserve moments.
Job Filmmaker, photographer
Lives In The West End
I am a freelance photographer and videographer and I currently call Portland home. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in film and television studies. I enjoy the simplicity of photography, and viewing the world through a lens in order to capture the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
My work includes short documentaries, promotional videos and event media coverage as well as portrait, wedding and event photography. When I'm not behind a camera, I love skiing, rowing, baking, drinking tea and jigsaw puzzles.
Why did you choose Portland? I had never lived by the sea before I moved to Portland and knew it was something I wanted to experience, and with a state slogan like “the way life should be” Maine was just calling my name.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? I love taking out-of-towners to my favorite little discoveries. Whether in the Old Port, Eastern Prom, or Bayside, there are so many delightful tasty goodies to share. Walks by the water are also a must.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? The coconut macaroons at Bam Bam and the almond croissants from Standard Baking Co, a chai from Local Sprouts, chilled Matcha Latte at Dobra Tea, Maple Moos at Arabica, Fries at DuckFat … need I continue?
What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? How walkable the city is.
Do you have a serendipity spot? Where do you always bump into good people? I still consider myself new to town, and am looking for people to bump into.
I teach strength, empowerment and self expression through movement with Dance, Buti and Yoga.
I inform, inspire and influence in support of my community, with a special soft spot for the arts.
