Liza Kelley Sperry
Job Design Director / Talley-O Design
Lives In South Portland
Liza graduated with honors from Maine College of Art in 2007 with a BFA in Graphic Design. She joined The VIA Agency where she worked as an art director for five years. Her clients included Welch’s, Maidenform, Seagram’s Escapes, Backyard Farms, Lojack, DuPont and Dundee Beer. After leaving VIA, Liza specialized in print and magazine communications freelancing for various design agencies, where she fine-tuned her design and typography talents. Clients included Medtech, Green Builder, Portland trails, Greater Portland Landmarks and MaineHealth.
After leaving the VIA Agency, Liza co-founded Talley-O Design. The business has expanded to a team of accomplished strategists, writers and designers. As a smaller firm, they are able to provide flexibility and direct service. Without the trappings of a larger agency, Talley-O dedicates 100% to the project at hand and delivers clear and thoughtful design. A small but mighty agency, motivated, and able to provide flexibility and direct service.
Liza’s passion projects include renovating a camp near her hometown of Monson, Maine; supplying goods for Sperry General Store, a home décor and gift-focused design business she created with her husband, Patrick, and their other creation, two-year-old firecracker, Sylvia.
