Lives In Parkside, Portland

I just relocated to Portland, but some of my first memories of the city include sprinting for a ferry out to Cliff Island with my mother at about age seven. I think deep down, I've always wanted to call Portland home, and I'm glad I've finally got that chance after living all up and down the east coast.

Currently I work just up the road at the Pejepscot Historical Society in Brunswick and am starting to get my own business off the ground doing family and oral histories, contract writing, and consulting gigs. I'm really looking forward to meeting others in the cultural heritage field here in Portland and exploring the many creative outlets the city has to offer.

Favorite places so far... Eastern Prom, Holy Donut, and Local 188. Can't wait to add more to the list!

Why did you choose Portland? The size. The history. The smell of the ocean. The sense that you get the best of both worlds - city and culture with a hefty side of actually knowing your neighbors.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? On the peninsula would have to be The Eastern Prom. There's just something about getting up to the top of the hill and having Casco Bay laid out at your feet that makes you feel like you're on top of the world!
