Interior and Event Design
Lives In South Portland
Born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of New York, I received a Bachelor of fine srts in interior fesign with a minor in art history from Rochester Institute of Technology. Upon graduating I headed to New England, working as an interior designer on large scale corporate projects in Boston and Connecticut; before settling in Maine to live “the way life should be.” Taking a brief intermission from design, my artistic side consistently screamed to be unleashed. It was not until I coordinated my own wedding in 2010, following which several vendors I worked with asked why I did not design weddings professionally. I thought “good question” and DAISIES & PEARLS was born.
When I am not creating, you can find me spending time with my husband, Chad and our two beloved German short haired pointers, Daisy and Pearl, which the business pays tribute to. I have been described as a “perfectionist and go-getter”; while in the same breathe “the life of the party.” My diversity can be best demonstrated by an obsession with both, Martha Stewart and Rod Stewart.
